Armour Stone Shorelines
Stone walls along the water to stop erosion and protect your waterfront.
The heavy side of landscaping: armour stone shorelines and walls, topsoil, and reshaping land so it looks good and works. We do the machine work that turns a rough property into a finished one.

Stone walls along the water to stop erosion and protect your waterfront.
Large stone placed to hold back soil on slopes and around buildings.
Shaping and sanding the area behind a shoreline into a usable beach.
Delivering and spreading topsoil, levelled and ready for seed or sod.
Berms, slopes and levels to give a property shape and proper drainage.
Clearing debris and grading out ruts after a build or renovation.
For shoreline work, we look at how high the water gets in spring and how the shore is eroding, then plan the stone size and placement to suit. Waterfront work can need approval from the conservation authority, and we'll tell you when it does.
Every stone is placed by machine, one at a time, so the wall locks together and stays put through ice and high water.
We're an owner-operated crew: we walk every site before we price it, show up when we say we will, and leave it graded out clean.
Often, yes. Work along lakes, rivers and creeks in Eastern Ontario usually needs approval from the local conservation authority (for example South Nation, Rideau Valley or Cataraqui Conservation, which covers Charleston Lake). We'll help you figure out what's needed before we start.
A properly placed armour stone wall can last for decades. The stone itself doesn't wear out; what matters is the base and how the stones lock together.
